About the Author
Sam McBratney says that the response to GUESS HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU "just took my breath away." The much-loved bestseller was the fifty-seventh book of the author's career, and his first book with Candlewick Press. In addition to authoring many books for children, Sam McBratney has written radio plays for adults and a prize-winning collection of short stories. He also worked for many years as a teacher. Married, with three grown children, he lives in Northern Ireland. Anita Jeram says that illustrating GUESS HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU by Sam McBratney was a labor of love. "Every time I read this book, I want to cry," she says.
