The Night My Bed Turned Into a Submarine
From Ryan Maloney, New Canaan based author and illustrator, comes his new graphic novel, “The Night My Bed Turned Into a Submarine,” an action/ adventure story about a boy who finds an ancient treasure in a loch behind his house, using his nothing but fear as his compass.
Taking action is better than a plan.
When Till finds himself moving back to the town he was born in, he feels stuck. Nothing has changed since he moved away. Silly lure about treasure at the bottom of Lock Intooey annoys him, tourists bug him, and he’s beginning to think things will never change. But when Till finds out his bus driver’s father once found a golden compass at the bottom of Lock Intooey, and disappeared following the compass, Till constructs a make shift submarine from the base boards of his bed to set off on an adventure to find the lost diver and discover a treasure that will change things forever.
