Submitted by elmstreetbooks on Tue, 12/20/2022 - 2:39pm

Event Details from Ferguson Library

Former U.S. Capitol Police Chief Steven A. Sund will discuss his book, Courage Under Fire, his account of the events leading up to January 6 and the harrowing minute-by-minute details of the attack on the U.S. Capitol, which was valiantly defended in hand-to-hand combat by the U.S. Capitol Police officers who were outnumbered 58 to one.

The conversation will be moderated by John Breunig, Editorial Page Editor for The Advocate and Greenwich Time.

Courage Under Fire draws on audio recordings, key documents and government records to trace Sund's journey from his command post on January 6 to his explosive behind-closed-doors testimony before the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol.

Q&A and book singing.

Copies of Courage Under Fire will be available for purchase by Elm St. Books.
